One of the greatest gifts we can give to our pets is the gift of healing.  Reiki energy provides that healing in a loving and gentle manner.  Most animals are very receptive to Reiki and respond quickly to the treatments. Reiki is an infusion of life force energy that can accelerate the healing process, ease pain, and improve the quality of life without causing stress or discomfort. Distance Energy Sessions - Distance healing is especially helpful for animals because it means that any animal can be treated at any time in any circumstance. Aggressive, elderly, fearful, or anxious animals, can be treated in the comfort of their own home without having a stranger working on them. Energy healing can also be sent to them at the kennel, vets office, or during surgery. The healing is effective immediately and the change in the well-being of the animal can be remarkable, although some conditions may require several treatments to complete the healing process. If you would like a distance energy treatment for your animal companion,  I will need the animals name and a description of the problem that needs treating. The initial Reiki session is 30 minutes, although many conditions will require more than one treatment. For Example: several daily sessions would be helpful in healing from surgery or broken bones. I feel that it is better for the animal to have a series of short sessions rather than one long session, as they will only take in the amount of energy that they need at any given time. Therefore, you may purchase 15 minute follow up sessions in groups of three. EFT sessions are wonderful for emotional and behavioral issues, such as separation anxiety, fear of thunderstorms, depression, and any type of destructive behavior. EFT also works well for physical ailments when the underlying cause is emotional. A typical EFT session will last an hour. At times I will combine Reiki and EFT into one powerful session!

My own dog Durango had extensive abdominal surgery to remove the string that was wound around his intestines. I was told to keep him quiet and still for a whole month after the surgery.  I sent Reiki to him during the surgery and did Reiki in person everyday for a week. At the end of that week his stitches were removed, the vet was amazed that you could hardly see the scar and hair was already growing back over it. He pronounced him healthy enough to return to normal activity. Later that day he was running and jumping for Frisbees! We all know how difficult it is to keep a dog inactive especially when there are other dogs in the home to play with. Reiki eased his pain and cut his recovery time down from the projected month to just 1 week!
One day I casually asked Rhonda if there was anything she could do to help restore my 13 year old dogs hearing. I certainly didn't think anything could be done, the vet said it is just "one of those things that happens with old age." A couple of days later she called and said that she had done some work on my dog and to let her know if I noticed any change. I was puzzeled about how she could have worked on him without coming near him, so she explained distance healing to me. To my complete surprise, my dog started responding when we called, and was meeting me at the door as if he had heard me come home!
